Lisa B. Evans

Lisa is a landscape architect, devoted knitter, author, and mother of three. She has designed for the needlecraft industry for more than 18 years, and started her own business, LB Evans Handknits in 2001 with an innovative line of knitted handbags, backpacks, and totes. Lisa specializes in color knitting and co-authored her first book, Hip Graphic Knits. (Rockport, 2006). Her designs have been featured in Interweave Knits Magazine. She also leads knitting workshops, retreats, assists the handwork instructors at the Merriconeag Waldorf School in Freeport, Maine and started The Children’s Knitting Circle in 2008. Lisa is the Owner and President of Knitting and Yoga Adventures, Inc. which was founded in 2006.



Melora Gregory, R.Y.T.

Melora has been passionately studying and teaching yoga at Portland Yoga Studio since 1993, where she is currently Workshop Coordinator and Teacher. A Registered Yoga Teacher, her main influences are BKS Iyengar Yoga Master Teacher Patricia Walden, Gabriel Halpern, and Elaine and Francis McGillicuddy. Melora continues to learn anatomy, therapeutics, yoga theory, and flow sequences, which she joyfully incorporates into her classes. Certified in 2009 in Yamuna Body Rolling. Melora finds this revolutionary therapeutic self body work very energizing. Melora has been the yoga instructor for weeklong retreats to Italy, to Monhegan Island, Costa Rica, and soon to New Zealand!



Mary Alice Goering, L.M.T.

Mary Alice is a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist. She is a member of the Maine Sports Massage Team, the Boston Marathon Massage Team since 1993, as well as the Olympic Sports Massage Teams for both 2002 in Salt Lake City, UT and 2004 in Athens, Greece. Mary Alice maintains a private practice in Portland, ME specializing in CORE myofascial/sports massage therapy, orthopedic and Swedish massage
