Come to where the sky embraces the earth and dream by crackling kiva fires under starry skies. This is the land of turquoise and dramatic light where ancient Native American's have thrived and artists have been inspired for centuries. Nestled in the mountain valleys of Northern New Mexico, the crisp high desert air and hot geothermal mineral springs will restore you to the true essence of your being.

Lisa will lead...

. . . A daily knitting session exploring the art of color work knitting. She encourages participants to draw upon the beautiful New Mexican landscape and culture for inspiration while exploring the many uses of color and color techniques in their own knitting. Students will have the option of working on their own projects or one of Lisa's original handbag designs of their choosing while learning more about Fair Isle, Intarsia, and designing with color. Open unstructured knitting sessions on the terrace will allow time for working on ongoing projects, starting new ones, or exploring the color work techniques covered in the studio sessions.

Suzanne will teach...

. . . A daily yoga session suitable for all levels of students. The late morning class will focus on yoga as a practice that allows us to expand into the spaciousness of our own heart, connecting to and honoring the deepest part of ourselves. In the silence of the desert we can better turn within to that most spacious and beautiful refuge within the heart.

. . . The delights of daily knitting sessions, and revitalizing yoga classes, paired with deeply restorative hot spring baths. Ojo Caliente was discovered thousands of years ago by Native Americans who recognized them as a source of healing, Hike through acres of desert trails, Spend an afternoon exploring the ancient Taos Pueblo, roam the artist's galleries and shops of Sante Fe, or visit Abiquiu, home of Georgia O'Keefe. Rummage an Indian Flea Market for turquoise and silver by day and nestle by a glowing kiva fireplace by night. Experience the wonder of the New Mexican desert.
