Registration and reservations

Spaces are limited and fill quickly, so please email or call us to confirm space availability for the Monhegan Island Adventure prior to sending in the registration form or payment (see phone numbers & email below the form).
The cost for the Monhegan Island Adventure is $2670 per person* and does not include airfare. A $500 deposit is due at the time of registration; the balance of $2170 is due no later than July 15 or your space cannot be guaranteed. Registration and payment in full prior to May 31 will receive an 'early bird' discount of $120. An additional discount of $120 is available to all members of Rowan International. If you are interested in a shared room, the retreat cost will be reduced by $150. For those who would like to bring a non-participating partner, a lower cost space may be available. Please contact us prior to registration as double rooms are limited.
Transportation from Portland to Port Clyde, Maine is available for an additional charge and is optional. We encourage all participants to join Rowan International (www.knitrowan.com) to receive the significant discount. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and we recommend you protect your investment with travel insurance. We suggest www.travelguard.com, ref #105423. Upon registration, we will send you an information packet that includes details for traveling to Monhegan Island, Maine, what to expect and what to pack. Included in the cost of the retreat are: 6 nights at the Monhegan House 6 full breakfasts 4 evening meals, including a traditional Maine Lobster dinner 2 daily yoga sessions 2 daily knitting workshops 1 hour long massage Daily guided island walks Round trip transportation from Port Clyde to Monhegan* 1 mid-day boat excursion around Monhegan Island (weather permitting) *a ferry ticket will be purchased in your name for the September 21, 3 pm boat. Because our fees are non-refundable, we strongly advise you to protect your investment with travel insurance. One we recommend is www.travelsecure.com. Visit their website or call them at (800) 873-9855. Transportation from Portland International Airport to the Port Clyde ferry terminal can be arranged for a $70.00 fee per person. Plan to arrive by 2:15 pm in order to catch the last ferry to Monhegan Island at 3:00 pm. Please arrange your travel plans accordingly, and send us your flight itinerary. On the return trip, you will arrive back in Portland, Maine by 3:00 pm. Overnight accommodations are available at the Portland Jetport. If you prefer to meet us in Port Clyde, directions can be found at www.monheganboat.com. Parking at the Monhegan Boat Line parking lot is not included and is available at a cost of approximately $4.00 per day. There are several lodging options in the Port Clyde area should you need to arrive the day before. If you chose to travel to Monhegan at a time other than the date indicated above, you will be responsible for purchasing your own boat ticket at an additional cost. |
To Register: Click to download the Registration Form. Each person in your party must fill out a Registration Form with payment information to participate in the retreat. Your space will be considered filled when we receive your Registration Form and deposit.
